Valhalla Productions is planning a fully staged production of Siegfried
with orchestra for November and December 2016, with two performances in
Palo Alto on Nov 26 & 27 and two performances in San Francisco on Dec 10 & 11.
Most roles have already been double-cast, but we are still
auditioning for a few roles and covers, on dates to be privately arranged,
in Palo Alto (see below).
Singers may sing a prepared aria or song in German of their choice. Singers are required to sing all of the excerpts listed below for the role(s) for which they are auditioning. The passages need not be memorized, they may be sung on book. The page/system/bar number references are to the Schirmer edition of the piano-vocal score. This score is available online from either the IMSLP or the Indiana University Library. (Do not be fooled by the images of the cover pages in the latter; the plates are identical to those of the Schirmer edition.)
